Strawberry Pie
1 cup sugar (3 Tbsp. for less thick)
1 cup water
4 Tbsp cornstarch
1 quart strawberries
6 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 pie shell
Bring to boil first 3 ingredients, then add jello.
Put berries in pie shell. Pour cooked mixture over berries. Chill and serve with whipped cream.

I've never made a pie with Jello in it...neat....Is it yummy???
Aiden and I sampled it tonight! I grew up with this pie.. one of my favorites, especially with those super sweet summertime strawberries. It's a great cool dessert on a warm summer evening. Strawberries are ripe in Florida right now, so our grocery stores are swimming in strawberries.
